Lead Software Engineer (EDA)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the C++ codebase for next-generation EDA tools.
• Absorb requirements and create design, functional, and test specifications for new features.
• Develop techniques that improve software capability, capacity, performance, and stability.
• Integrate code commits with build and regression systems for testing.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams across product engineering, verification, documentation, and program management.

Requirements

• PhD, or a master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong mathematical background, including advanced study of mathematics or physics.
• STEM degree from a Russell Group university, such as mathematics, physics, engineering, or computer science.
• Experience programming in C++14/17 or another object-oriented language.
• Algorithmic software development skills and exposure to Linux or Unix environments.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Qt.
• Previous EDA experience.
