Senior Software Engineer (Chromium)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Chromium-based browser components in C++ across content, browser, core, compositor, Skia, and networking layers.
• Apply networking fundamentals and HTTP security expertise to browser isolation and network-facing infrastructure.
• Build and integrate AI-agent capabilities and MCP servers with the platform.
• Develop supporting tools, services, and prototypes in Python or Rust.
• Deploy and operate AWS and GCP infrastructure with Kubernetes and Terraform for agent and MCP workloads.
• Debug and optimize high-scale systems while collaborating with product, security, and AI engineering teams.

Requirements

• Strong C++ engineering skills.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including HTTP security.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to work in the EMEA - UK location.

Nice to have

• Chromium experience across content, browser, core, compositor, Skia, and networking, or equivalent large-scale C++ systems experience.
• Python or Rust experience.
• Experience with AI agents, MCP servers, AWS, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux.
• Experience with Tornado, HAProxy, and AWS EC2.
