Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure/Networking)

Location: US Remote; offices in Los Angeles, California and Houston, Texas.

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 base annually, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and execute the migration of on-premises and colocation infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain site-to-site and point-to-site VPN connectivity, including integrations with external networks.
• Maintain the existing infrastructure during the migration and support production reliability.
• Develop cloud networking, security, automation, and platform capabilities.
• Support customer infrastructure requirements and implement improvements as the platform scales.
• Collaborate with customer IT and security teams on technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in networking, systems, or infrastructure engineering in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with VPNs, firewalls, NSGs, ACLs, network segmentation, and certificate management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across physical, network, and application layers.
• Scripting and automation experience, plus familiarity with Kubernetes and containers.
• Ability to support legacy on-premises infrastructure during migration.
• AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer Associate certification or the ability to pass the certification exam.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating production workloads to Azure and hands-on AKS or managed Kubernetes experience.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, cloud cost management, and rightsizing.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Windows Server, Entra ID, and .NET.
• Experience with networking certifications, vendor management, observability tools, or AI coding tools.
