Associate Director, Workforce Intelligence (AI)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid work is available up to two remote days per week, or the role can be performed on-site five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

Salary: $172,000–$258,000 base pay annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead workforce planning analytics, reporting, and forecasting across headcount, hiring, attrition, positions, costs, and workforce mix.
• Prepare executive reporting, scenarios, recommendations, and decision support for senior leaders.
• Advance governed conversational analytics so leaders can query workforce data in plain language and receive verified answers.
• Design applied workforce research, surveys, assessments, and measurement frameworks for AI-enabled work and organizational transformation.
• Build automated reporting, data preparation, and analytical products using code and approved AI tools.
• Monitor organizational structure, data quality, privacy, security, and responsible use of data and AI.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in industrial-organizational psychology, organizational science, quantitative psychology, statistics, data science, analytics, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience combining applied research or measurement with workforce or organizational analytics, reporting, and forecasting.
• Hands-on experience with Python or R, SQL, forecasting, scenario modeling, and analytical automation.
• Experience with semantic models, curated data products, governed cloud data platforms, and conversational self-service analytics.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, organization design, job architecture, and position management.
• Experience advising senior leaders and supporting workforce or organizational decisions.

Nice to have

• Doctorate in a relevant behavioral or quantitative field.
• Experience with Snowflake, Vertex Data Platform, Cortex, Workday, or Power BI.
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or another science-driven industry experience.
