Phlebotomist

Location: Client office in San Tan Valley, Arizona, United States; travel to additional sites may be required.

What you will do

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other examinations.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient data accurately and process billing information and payments when required.
• Provide customer service to patients and perform administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites and work overtime when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, in a team, and with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program.
• At least two years of phlebotomy experience.
• At least one year of experience in an OB/GYN setting.
• Proven customer service experience.
