Missile Tracking Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid remote/on-site in Scottsdale, Arizona, on a government contract. TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly eligibility is required.

Salary: $138,000–$153,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Support the evolution, integration, testing, maintenance, and site support of ground entry points, operations centers, enterprise test capabilities, and infrastructure.
• Decompose system requirements into architectures, internal and external interfaces, and system behaviors.
• Schedule satellite and payload capabilities for missile tracking and maintain situational awareness.
• Analyze and fuse satellite-provided missile tracking data for rapid processing and dissemination.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field with 8+ years of job-related experience, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Recent experience designing and architecting missile tracking systems and applying sensor fusion techniques.
• Experience designing logic, assessing satellite services, and scheduling satellite capabilities for missile tracking.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment.
• Experience with image collection, handling, storage, and analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience designing systems that solve complex problems using algorithms.
• Experience developing and tuning algorithms for specific mission parameters.
