Senior Software Engineer (Platform Team) (Cloud Security)

Location: Remote, flexible within Italy

Annual compensation: €54,000–€68,000

hirify.global develops cloud security technology, including Falco, an open standard for cloud threat detection.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate identity and account services covering authentication, authorization, and user and team directories.
• Build scalable, highly available, distributed, and performant platform services used by multiple engineering teams.
• Develop cross-product capabilities such as automations, analytics systems, and ticketing integrations.
• Own and improve onboarding for connecting AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI accounts in collaboration with Product, Frontend, Design, and QE.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve urgent production issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience designing and shipping distributed, highly available services.
• Strong proficiency in Go or Java.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database and a messaging system such as NATS.
• Experience with SaaS applications and delivering large software projects end to end.
• Experience with AI coding agents such as Claude and a proactive approach to improving workflows with them.
• Ability to work across high-priority projects in a distributed, remote-first team.
