Senior Programmer (Building Automation)

Location: Field-based building automation and deployment work; regular collaboration with field personnel is required.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain advanced software and graphics for building automation systems.
• Test and implement new software features and integrate them with evolving technologies.
• Program and deploy building management systems using function block and scripting approaches.
• Integrate systems through BACnet, Lon, and Modbus protocols.
• Collaborate with field personnel during programming and deployment activities.
• Coach, mentor, and train new and less experienced programmers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7 or more years of related field work experience, including 3 or more years programming building automation systems.
• Proficiency with multiple BMS software variants and programming styles.
• Understanding of mechanical equipment operation and interaction within larger mechanical systems.
• Advanced knowledge of the HVAC and construction industries.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
