Controls Project Engineer – Programming (HVAC): Providing engineering support for HVAC and building control projects from validation through implementation with an accent on device programming, graphics creation, and system commissioning. Focus on developing controls for energy management, chiller plant, and building management systems, integrating industrial protocols, and meeting quality and EHS standards.
Location: Singapore, Central Singapore; field-based work at customer locations

What you will do
- Provide engineering support from project validation through implementation.
- Identify required materials and equipment during the validation phase.
- Prepare and submit engineering documentation, bills of quantity, and operation and maintenance manuals.
- Program control devices and create project-specific graphics.
- Assist with system equipment testing and commissioning.
- Ensure work complies with specified quality and EHS standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in engineering, building control, or a relevant field.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of industrial system protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LONTalk.
- Strong customer management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with a self-motivated approach.
- Experience with PLC programming, HVAC, energy management, chiller plant, or building management systems is advantageous.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of IT networking and database programming.
- Experience with Function Block, Structured Language, or HTML5 programming.
