Practice Leader (Resilience Risk Consulting)

Location: Melbourne or Sydney, Australia; hybrid with at least three days per week in the local office or working onsite with clients

What you will do

• Set and deliver the strategic direction and growth plan for the Crisis Management and Business Continuity practice.
• Develop market propositions covering crisis preparedness, business continuity, operational resilience, response, and recovery.
• Own revenue growth, pipeline development, market penetration, profitability, utilization, pricing, and delivery governance.
• Build executive relationships, originate consulting opportunities, and lead major proposals, pitches, and negotiations.
• Advise boards and executives, lead complex engagements, and translate technical findings into practical business recommendations.
• Recruit, develop, retain, and build the succession pipeline for a high-performing consulting team while collaborating with enterprise risk, cyber, insurance, claims, analytics, security, and industry specialists.

Requirements

• Significant experience in crisis management, business continuity, operational resilience, emergency management, risk consulting, or a related field.
• Experience leading a professional services practice, service line, or substantial consulting portfolio.
• Strong technical knowledge of crisis management and business continuity standards, frameworks, and operating models.
• Experience advising boards, executives, and senior crisis and resilience stakeholders.
• A strong record of originating, developing, and converting consulting opportunities, with commercial ownership of revenue, pipeline, profitability, utilization, and delivery performance.
• Appropriate approval to work in Australia is required. Successful applicants must complete a criminal and bankruptcy check before commencing employment.
