Senior Product Leader & Strategist, AI Networking Solutions

Location: Hybrid, with an average of two days per week from an HPE office. The listed position salary applies to the United States of America, in California.

Salary: USD 194,000–412,500 annual base salary in California, United States. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution framework for AI-driven networking and automation solutions.
• Drive products using machine learning, generative AI, large language models, and agentic AI architectures.
• Translate customer pain points and market opportunities into product requirements, business outcomes, and measurable success metrics.
• Partner with engineering, data science, UX, sales, customer success, executives, and other organizations to deliver AI capabilities.
• Develop product positioning, competitive differentiation, go-to-market strategies, and investment recommendations.
• Lead customer research, represent HPE with customers and industry stakeholders, and mentor product managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or product leadership.
• Experience launching and scaling AI, machine learning, or data-driven products.
• Strong understanding of large language models, generative AI platforms, agentic AI frameworks, and modern AI architectures.
• Experience defining product strategy and roadmaps for enterprise software or cloud-based solutions, with measurable business outcomes.
• Proven cross-functional leadership, executive communication, analytical decision-making, and data-driven product management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in networking, network operations, cloud networking, enterprise infrastructure, or telecommunications.
• Knowledge of AIOps, network automation, observability, predictive analytics, and autonomous systems.
• Experience with AI model lifecycle management, MLOps, AI governance, conversational AI, copilots, autonomous agents, or multi-agent systems.
• MBA or an advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
