Networking Software Engineering System QA (AI)

What you will do

• Validate customer-focused networking solutions through feature, scale, migration, performance, interoperability, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze customer architectures, network topologies, and technical requirements to develop and execute system-level and solution-level test plans.
• Build and maintain test labs representing customer deployments, including routers, switches, and Junos/EVO-based networking devices.
• Develop and maintain automation using Python, Robot Framework, Perl, or similar technologies, and use Ixia and Spirent for traffic generation and validation.
• Analyze results, perform root cause analysis, resolve defects with development teams, and identify coverage gaps and reliability risks.
• Prepare technical reports and customer presentations, participate in design workshops, and improve testing methodologies with AI-driven automation and emerging AI-powered testing tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in networking systems engineering, system testing, solution validation, or related fields.
• Experience with Service Provider, Cloud, Core, or Edge networking environments and large-scale network deployments.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, RSVP, L2VPN/L3VPN, VLAN, and QoS.
• Proficiency in Python and test automation frameworks, with experience using Ixia and Spirent or comparable network testing tools.
• Ability to analyze network architectures, troubleshoot complex systems, perform root cause analysis, and communicate with customers and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Juniper Junos/EVO platforms.
• Customer-facing technical experience.
• Networking certifications such as JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with AI-driven automation, AI agents, and AI-powered testing tools.
