Controls Engineer (PLC)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and install innovative manufacturing equipment for high-volume production.
• Program, debug, test, update, and optimize automated control systems.
• Provide technical support to the maintenance department.
• Collaborate with other departments on equipment improvements and deliver internal training.
• Document control programs and publish reports on internal projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Proficiency with automated technologies including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, SCADA, and robotics.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC logic; Allen-Bradley experience is preferred.
• Training or experience in electricity, hydraulics, fabrication, plastics, and electronic controls.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD, Inventor or SolidWorks, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, plus strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Allen-Bradley experience.
• Experience with Inventor or SolidWorks.
