Consultant – Analytics Solutions Team (General Insurance)

Location: Australia; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office or onsite with clients

What you will do

• Deliver general insurance actuarial and risk analytics work across client engagements.
• Work with clients, external brokers, and senior stakeholders to support trusted relationships and service delivery.
• Translate technical findings into clear, practical insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore contributors to support effective delivery and collaboration.
• Support, mentor, and occasionally manage junior team members.
• Contribute to client relationship management and business development activities.

Requirements

• Relevant actuarial or broader insurance industry experience, ideally in general insurance.
• Experience in an insurer or consulting environment.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and developing practical recommendations in uncertain situations.
• Appropriate approval to work in Australia is required.

Nice to have

• Actuarial background suitable for appointment at Consultant level.
• Experience with matrix management, people leadership, project leadership, or reviewing others' work.
• Experience working across global or multi-location teams.
