Senior Claims Advocate - FINPRO

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid with at least three days per week in the office and two days from home

What you will do

• Provide coverage and claims strategy guidance on moderately complex FINPRO claims.
• Identify relevant policies and analyse claim notifications against coverage positions.
• Manage claims from notification through closure, with supervision where required.
• Monitor insurer responses and engage with insurers and their advisers on coverage discussions.
• Draft client correspondence, claims calculations and reviewed documents.
• Analyse claims data, loss statistics, trends and cost-reduction opportunities to support action planning.

Requirements

• Experience in claims, insurance or a related advisory environment.
• Ability to interpret policy coverage and apply it to claims situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing clear client-facing documents.
• Good analytical skills and accurate attention to claims data and detail.
• Appropriate approval to work in Australia is required.
• Successful applicants must complete a Criminal & Bankruptcy check before commencing employment.

Nice to have

• Experience in FINPRO claims or broader financial lines insurance.
• Exposure to client service, claims advocacy or coverage discussions with insurers.
