Marsh People and Investments Health and Benefits Summer Internship 2027

Location: Washington, DC; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office. The internship runs from June 7 through August 13, 2027, with no alternate start or end dates.

What you will do

• Collect and analyze healthcare claims, utilization data, cost projections, and evaluations.
• Support client Request for Proposal processes and assist with implementation strategies.
• Help senior consultants review client needs and identify suitable approaches.
• Model employee benefit contributions to support employer objectives.
• Prepare client reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other communications.
• Support the National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans and develop industry benchmarks.

Requirements

• Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, economics, health administration, health policy, or a related field.
• Current college or university enrollment with expected graduation in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Permanent, ongoing U.S. work authorization without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
• Availability for the full internship period from June 7 through August 13, 2027.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
