TL;DR
Lead Human Resources (HR) Manager (HR business partnering and organizational development): Designing and delivering people and culture initiatives for the Asia People team with an accent on talent planning, change management, employee relations, and Malaysia labour law. Focus on coaching People Managers, using HR metrics to guide workforce solutions, and coordinating regional programs in a highly matrixed environment.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients

What you will do

  • Design and implement people and culture initiatives aligned with business priorities and regional people objectives.
  • Partner with stakeholders on organizational design, change management, workforce planning, talent planning, succession, and performance management.
  • Coach People Managers on employee engagement, employee relations, performance improvement, compensation, benefits, and career development.
  • Use HR metrics and analytics to develop actionable insights and support organizational change.
  • Work with People Experience and HR Centers of Excellence to translate global and regional priorities into local execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional HR programs, stakeholder relationships, metrics reporting, and ad hoc projects while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of HR generalist or HR business partnering experience in a leading multinational organization.
  • Experience in HR business partnering within a matrixed organization and collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence or shared-service models.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysia labour law and HR best practices; broader Asia experience is preferred.
  • Experience in organizational design, change management, talent development, stakeholder influencing, and HR analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources or a business-related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work independently across multiple stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of HR practices across broader Asia markets.
  • Additional Asian language skills.
