Government Human Consulting Intern (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role based in Phoenix, Arizona; Seattle, Washington; or Minneapolis, Minnesota, with at least three days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Perform responsibilities comparable to a full-time analyst with support from experienced colleagues.
• Analyze healthcare and Medicaid claims data using spreadsheet and database management software, primarily Excel.
• Develop reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Work on projects related to healthcare delivery systems and government-sponsored programs such as Medicaid and Medicare.
• Collaborate with programmers, actuaries, clinicians, and consulting colleagues across the practice.

Requirements

• Progress toward a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business analytics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• Currently enrolled as a student with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or spring 2028.
• Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Permanent and ongoing legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
