Student Account Receivables Manager

Location: Stephenville, Texas, United States; on-campus work Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm or as required

Salary: $65,370–$92,831 annual base salary, commensurate with experience and subject to funding availability.

What you will do

• Lead collection efforts for past-due student accounts, payment agreements, write-offs, and external collection referrals.
• Supervise Outreach and Recovery Coordinators and develop training on account resolution, retention, compliance, and communication.
• Manage student billing, payment, collections, account-recovery, payment-plan, and communication technologies as the business owner.
• Develop financial and statistical models, revenue forecasts, expense projections, variance analyses, and management reports.
• Coordinate system upgrades, integrations, automated workflows, vendor relationships, and process improvements with IT, Finance, Enrollment Management, and external providers.
• Oversee refunds, returned federal Title IV funds, withdrawals, disbursements, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Eight years of professional experience, including at least three years of progressively responsible financial, accounting, or data analysis experience.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, and reporting principles.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, spreadsheet tools such as Excel, ERP systems, and Banner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze complex data, and provide actionable recommendations.
