Site Reliability Engineer II

Location: Hybrid — 2 days onsite and 3 days remote per week in Arlington or Irving, Texas, United States

What you will do

• Define and evolve release engineering and software delivery strategies.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered development tools, including GitHub Copilot, to improve developer productivity and code quality.
• Build scalable software solutions and promote coding, testing, and automation best practices.
• Establish service level objectives and indicators aligned with business goals.
• Design automated pipelines, security controls, and monitoring solutions to improve uptime and reduce manual intervention.
• Perform root cause analysis and problem management while leading continuous improvements in Agile Scrum teams.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in software development and test automation.
• 5–7 years of cloud experience preferred, with expertise in Azure environments.
• Strong development experience with Java, C#, PowerShell, Bash, or comparable programming and scripting languages.
• Expertise in SLO and SLI definition, evolutionary database design, query performance, indexing, pipeline automation, automated testing, and security controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work or military experience.
• Employment sponsorship is not available, including H-1B, TN, L1, and OPT visas.
