Production Engineering Specialist (Electrical Machines)

Location: Shanghai, Shanghai, China; onsite, full-time

hirify.global’s High Power Division develops large AC motors and generators for industrial, infrastructure, and marine transportation applications.

What you will do

• Provide technical support for production and resolve process quality issues with production, quality control, and other functions.
• Collaborate with global advanced manufacturing specialists to optimize manufacturing processes and systems.
• Assess the capabilities of manufacturing equipment and tools.
• Develop standardized manufacturing processes, local work instructions, documentation, and SOPs.
• Train and qualify operators to ensure correct product manufacturing.
• Prepare and implement process audit plans and produce objective audit reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a mechanical engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of electrical machines and electrical machine manufacturing processes.
• Strong systematic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Must comply with local hirify.global employment requirements and processes in China.
