Operations Safety Specialist

Location: Onsite in Hagerstown, Maryland, United States

Pay: $25.99–$40.35 per hour

What you will do

• Deliver instructor-led safety training and informational sessions to groups and individuals.
• Support field operations and safety-focused leadership activities.
• Develop methods for analyzing operational and safety data and interpret results.
• Build collaborative relationships and motivate teams around shared safety goals.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize workload, and plan resources to meet deadlines.
• Identify operational problems and develop efficient, fact-based solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of experience in instructor-led training, field operations, or a related area.
• Experience in a safety-focused leadership role is preferred.
• Presentation, organizational, time-management, data-analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
• Availability to work onsite in Hagerstown, Maryland, United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Certification from ASSP, NSC, OSHA Training Institute, or an accredited college.
• Knowledge of FedEx operations concepts, practices, policies, and procedures.
