Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $260,000–$285,000 per year, plus $65,000–$71,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Develop production agentic integrations in Python using multiple AI models, APIs, data sources, and MCP tools.
• Build agentic tools and workflows with PydanticAI, LangGraph, and DeepAgents.
• Translate operational workflows and cybersecurity challenges into high-impact automation with cyber analysts and stakeholders.
• Develop agentic primitives such as skills, prompts, and subagents for adaptive, context-aware capabilities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot a production-grade agentic platform serving hundreds to thousands of users.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph required before applying.
• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on AI, NLP, and Python.
• Experience building and maintaining production applications for hundreds to thousands of users.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, context management, structured outputs, and tool or function calling.
• Experience developing resilient, scalable stream-processing applications with modern messaging and event-streaming platforms.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, and AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic workflows, multi-agent orchestration, retrieval systems, RAG, vector databases, or semantic search.
• Cybersecurity or security operations experience, including analysis of network traffic or operating-system events.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of SIGINT collection and analysis systems or production CNO capabilities and operations.
• Practical experience with intelligent systems, autonomy, planning, LLMs, or related AI domains.
