Location: Remote, Denver, Colorado, or San Francisco, California. The role requires approximately 60% travel, including frequent travel to New Mexico and other priority strategic markets.
Salary: $150,000–$180,000 in Denver or $170,000–$200,000 in San Francisco, plus competitive variable compensation based on partnership outcomes.

What you will do
- Build and own strategic partnerships with pediatric behavioral health organizations, children’s hospitals, academic medical centers, managed care organizations, health plans, and government entities.
- Structure and negotiate referral agreements, pilots, value-based arrangements, preferred provider partnerships, public-sector contracts, and other enterprise deals.
- Translate clinical outcomes, access improvements, AI-enabled efficiency, and network capabilities into commercial and clinical value propositions.
- Navigate complex negotiations across clinical, operational, payer, government, finance, contracting, and executive stakeholders.
- Own the partnership lifecycle from initial relationship through signed agreement, pilot launch, operationalization, and expansion.
- Maintain the HubSpot pipeline and report partnership revenue, referral volume, pipeline value, conversion, and expansion metrics to the CCO and executive team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, or market development, including at least 3 years with complex healthcare accounts.
- Demonstrated success closing and operationalizing complex enterprise partnerships, referral agreements, pilots, value-based arrangements, or public-sector contracts.
- Deep familiarity with Medicaid managed care, including provider evaluation, network needs, pilot structures, and behavioral health contracting.
- Strong understanding of health system decision-making and experience working with healthcare executives, Medicaid leaders, MCO CMOs, clinical leaders, and government stakeholders.
- Experience with state or local government healthcare programs, including Medicaid, early intervention, Developmental Disabilities authorities, waiver programs, or other public-sector initiatives.
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time and operate as a senior individual contributor while building the foundation for a small partnerships team.

- Experience in healthcare services or behavioral health.
- Relationships with MCO contracting or value-based care teams at regional Medicaid-focused plans.
- Familiarity with EHR integration and interoperability technology partnerships.
- Experience with state or federal grants supporting behavioral health access.
