Software Test & Validation Engineer

Location: East Peoria, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Up to 10% travel is required. Domestic relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $89,210–$133,810 per year.

What you will do

• Provide internal software verification and validation for CTCT products.
• Plan and improve testing procedures to increase reliability, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Monitor test results, machine and process capabilities, and performance reliability.
• Resolve design and manufacturing issues while supporting design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
• Collaborate with CTCT, hirify.global, and Trimble product and project teams.
• Support adoption of automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or Materials Science, or equivalent engineering experience.
• Knowledge of product testing approaches, techniques, and tools.
• Ability to analyze root causes, make informed decisions, troubleshoot technical problems, and develop solutions.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience in software test validation for devices or machines.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Earthmoving machine or industry knowledge.
• Grade control or similar machine control technology experience.
• Software development experience with Python, MATLAB, or Java.
