What you will do

• Manage branch activities, profitability, sales performance, operations, customer experience, and digital engagement.
• Lead, coach, develop, interview, and select branch employees while managing performance and staffing decisions.
• Identify retail and business banking needs, grow customer relationships, and conduct proactive community and business outreach.
• Process business banking loan requests up to $250,000 and recommend bundled products and services.
• Resolve complex account servicing and customer issues, including escalations, and build partnerships across the bank.
• Maintain operational controls, fraud prevention, audit requirements, regulatory compliance, and customer asset protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Ability to use common PC and Microsoft Office software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Life, Accident and Health Insurance licensing may be required within 18 months; M&T Business Banking Specialist qualification is required within 18 months of hire.
