Senior Software Engineer (Workday)

Location: Remote Kentucky, United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test software applications based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with business partners, solution architects, and application architects to design software solutions.
• Standardize software quality assurance procedures, oversee testing and debugging, and develop fixes.
• Research complaints and make adjustments or recommendations to resolve complex software issues.
• Influence department strategy and determine technical approaches for project components with considerable autonomy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure.
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
• 5+ years of experience with Workday integration techniques, including RaaS, API, Cloud Connector, and EIB.
• 4+ years of experience collaborating with HR, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, and Learning teams.
• 3+ years of experience with Workday architecture and data structures.
• 3+ years of experience working with protected information.
• 2+ years of experience implementing Workday security, including SSO and MFA.
• Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions and protect member PHI and HIPAA information.
• Home internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Experience with Workday Extend, Workday Orchestration, Workday Sana, and Electronic Transmissions processes.
• Experience estimating, budgeting, and planning projects.
