Data Center Capacity & Inventory Manager

Location: Remote from Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, or Chile; comfortable working on EST time zone

What you will do

• Maintain a complete, accurate inventory of company-owned, on-premises, colocation, wholesale, and edge data center facilities.
• Define data standards, naming conventions, reporting practices, and audit processes for power, cooling, racks, space, and physical assets.
• Track utilization and remaining capacity for space, power, and cooling at rack, room, and site levels.
• Forecast capacity, identify sites approaching operational limits, and recommend expansion, consolidation, or reallocation.
• Analyze and support data center moves, migrations, consolidations, and build-outs, including target-site readiness and move sequencing.
• Produce capacity reports and dashboards for infrastructure leadership, finance, planning, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience managing multi-site or global data center infrastructure across owned and colocation facilities.
• Practical knowledge of data center power, cooling, physical space, circuits, PDUs, UPS systems, generators, redundancy concepts, and containment.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate inventory and capacity data across multiple facilities.
• Experience with data center moves, migrations, consolidations, or build-outs, as well as colocation contracts, SLAs, capacity commitments, and cost control.
• Strong data and reporting skills, including advanced spreadsheets and BI or reporting tools.
• Must be able to work remotely from Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, or Chile and be comfortable working on EST time zone.

Nice to have

• Uptime Institute, BICSI DCDC, or EPI CDCP, CDCS, or CDCE certifications.
• Experience with Nlyte, Sunbird, Device42, or Hyperview DCIM platforms.
• Knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier topology, ANSI/TIA-942, and ASHRAE thermal guidelines.
• Exposure to hybrid environments spanning on-premises, colocation, edge, and public cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of data center sustainability, energy efficiency, PUE, and power reporting.
