Lead (Cannabis Retail)

Location: Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, United States; onsite retail role with travel to multiple locations per week

What you will do

• Lead daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, facility upkeep, and store maintenance.
• Coach, train, and motivate staff through daily huddles, zone charts, performance standards, and professional development.
• Support revenue growth through customer engagement, upselling, promotions, product education, and loyalty initiatives.
• Manage inventory activities including cycle counts, product intake, invoice management, reconciliation, stocking, order fulfillment, and destruction procedures.
• Maintain accurate cash deposits, till settings, drawer closures, and other cash-flow processes.
• Support visual merchandising, customer journey standards, compliance initiatives, store events, and communication with the management team.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
• Strong understanding of local and state regulations governing cannabis operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and cash-counting skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations per week.
• Microsoft Suite experience and a positive, flexible approach to work.
• Mid-level experience with 2–5 years overall preferred; no minimum cannabis-industry experience is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with POS systems, Dutchie, METRC, or other cannabis-specific software.
