Co-op, Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics (QSP/AI/ML)

Location: Remote, USA; legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Salary: $29–$33 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop and refine mechanistic Quantitative Systems Pharmacology models for drug discovery and development programs.
• Explore and evaluate AI and machine learning methods for QSP modeling workflows.
• Perform Model-Based Meta-Analyses to generate evidence for portfolio strategy and drug-development decisions.
• Analyze and interpret preclinical, clinical, biological, omics, and literature-derived data.
• Apply industry-standard data-handling and modeling practices and present project progress internally.
• Prepare external posters and manuscripts when applicable and support additional Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics activities.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and enrollment in an accredited educational institution or skills program are required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old before the scheduled start date.
• Ph.D. candidate in the third year or above with quantitative, computational, or mechanistic modeling experience.
• Master’s or Pharm.D. candidates with modeling, data analysis, or computational biology experience may also be considered.
• Experience with mathematical, computational, or systems biology models and biological or clinical data analysis.
• Proficiency in R, Python, MATLAB, or similar scientific computing tools, with strong quantitative reasoning and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Studies in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Systems Biology, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative life-science discipline.
• Familiarity with meta-analysis, model-based analysis, or evidence synthesis.
