Senior Data Insights Specialist

What you will do

• Act as a liaison between clients, stakeholders, and technical groups to elicit, document, analyze, validate, and communicate business requirements.
• Translate business needs into system and application requirements, project components, and business solutions.
• Recommend and coordinate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of client business systems, processes, and products.
• Lead analysis teams on large projects and manage requirements, scope, change, traceability, risks, schedules, budgets, and expectations.
• Direct visualization and user experience elements of solution design, lead business studies, and present results to senior management.
• Support proposals, feasibility studies, new business development, process improvement, training, and mentoring activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Experience with requirements elicitation through interviews and workshop facilitation, structured requirements documentation, analysis, evaluation, validation, prioritization, and classification.
• Ability to decompose high-level information, abstract low-level information, distinguish requests from needs and requirements from solutions, and analyze ambiguity.
• Experience with UML object-oriented techniques, business process modeling, scope and client expectation management, requirements change management and traceability, and risk identification and mitigation.
• Ability to solve complex problems creatively, build relationships, collaborate, communicate a project or system vision, provide thought leadership, mentor others, and deliver effective written and verbal presentations.
• Experience in one or more industry domains.
• Experience with function point counting, survey design and execution, statistical analysis, structured user manuals and training, visualization modeling, business rules modeling, and developing and executing acceptance test plans.

Nice to have

• IIBA CBAP or equivalent certification.
• Recognized industry certification.
