Strategic Account Associate (Medical Communications)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $70,642.40–$105,963.60 USD per year, plus discretionary annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as a day-to-day client contact alongside Strategic Account Managers and Directors.
• Contribute to annual strategic, tactical, brand, and project-level plans.
• Coordinate internal teams, project briefs, kickoff meetings, timelines, and client expectations.
• Support account scoping, budgeting, forecasting, financial monitoring, and growth opportunities.
• Review deliverables for accuracy and readiness before client delivery.
• Participate in or lead client meetings, status calls, planning calls, and meetings with healthcare professionals, including occasional travel to live meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least one year of account management experience in medical communications or a related industry.
• PowerPoint design proficiency.
• Strong strategic, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to stay current on scientific developments, competitors, regulations, and client industries.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as PhD, MD, or PharmD in life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine.
• Advanced degree in management, marketing, or business.
• Resourcefulness, tenacity, independence, energy, and self-confidence.
