Data & Insights Manager (Power BI)

Location: Remote within Canada. Travel is required.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee performance data across multiple employment services programs.
• Design, build, maintain, and manage Power BI reports, dashboards, and enterprise reporting platforms.
• Develop accurate, understandable, and unbiased data models for operational decision-making.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, forecasting, modeling, performance measurement, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, senior leaders, and external service providers to turn data into actionable insights.
• Monitor KPIs, identify root causes of performance issues, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Management, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or insights functions, including leadership experience.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, and enterprise reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, data architecture, data integration, and reporting platform management.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, performance measurement frameworks, and complex datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of government-funded programs, public sector contracts, or performance-based service delivery environments.
