Corporate Communication Intern

Location: Denton, Texas, United States; flexible hybrid environment with office attendance every Tuesday and typically 2–3 onsite days per week

Salary: $22–$25 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with planning and supporting local and internal events.
• Update website content, improve SEO, and create landing pages.
• Develop fact sheets, emails, social media posts, and other marketing materials.
• Support digital marketing, public relations, internal communications, and event management initiatives.
• Coordinate community and sustainability activities, including the City of Denton's Twilight Tunes event and Sustainability Week.
• Partner with the Customer Innovation Center team to create customer experiences for the food and beverage industry.

Requirements

• Suggested majors include Communications, Marketing, Journalism, General Business, English, Public Relations, and Advertising.
• Strong team orientation, proactive self-starter mentality, and eagerness to learn and contribute.
• Availability to work onsite for 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week during the summer; part-time work of up to 20 hours per week may be available during the school year.
• Graduation must take place after the internship ends.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
