Public Affairs Intern (Fintech)

Location: Washington, DC; candidates must be located in Washington, DC for the duration of the internship.

Base pay: $40–$55 per hour in Washington, DC.

What you will do

• Support paid and earned media campaigns that build brand awareness and communicate customer-focused public policy priorities.
• Help engage policy audiences, reach key opinion leaders, and increase executive visibility.
• Collaborate with external creative and public relations agencies on research-driven goals and actionable market insights.
• Maintain and refresh content for Global Corporate Affairs web properties.
• Develop internal newsletter content, manage sends, and track performance.
• Support collaboration across Corporate Affairs, Brand, Marketing, and Corporate Communications.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
• Master’s degree program enrollment is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate, manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and deliver high-quality work.
• Interest in public affairs or corporate affairs, with experience in digital marketing campaigns and/or press and media communications.
• Moderate to advanced proficiency with AI tools, Google Suite, Slack, Mailchimp, and other SaaS applications.

• Experience in public affairs or public policy.
