Senior Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with presence required 4 days per week at the Bellevue, San Francisco, or San Jose office; Tuesday is the designated work-from-home day.

Annual salary: $266,000–$356,000 in Bellevue or $296,000–$395,000 in San Francisco/San Jose.

What you will do

• Design and operate IAM architectures, SSO/IdP integrations, PAM, MFA, passwordless authentication, and contextual access policies.
• Automate joiner-mover-leaver workflows, lifecycle management, access certifications, and governance controls.
• Secure corporate SaaS applications and endpoints using SSPM, baseline configurations, patch management, MDM, and EDR controls.
• Architect zero-trust network access, VPN/SASE solutions, and secure access frameworks with IT Infrastructure and Operations.
• Develop Python or Go automation for identity operations, third-party risk analysis, access approvals, anomaly detection, and SaaS security monitoring.
• Partner with IT, Legal, HR, and Compliance on security roadmaps, documentation, awareness guidance, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of dedicated security engineering experience focused on enterprise security, corporate security, or IAM infrastructure.
• Experience designing and scaling IAM architectures with Okta, Entra ID, SAML/OIDC, SCIM, and PAM.
• Hands-on experience securing corporate SaaS applications and managing SSPM tools.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Go, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of zero-trust architecture, EDR, MDM, and corporate network security.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with IT, Legal, and HR.

Nice to have

• Experience building enterprise security or IAM programs at high-growth technology companies or cloud providers.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or HIPAA/HITECH compliance and audit preparation.
• Experience with Terraform for enterprise identity and SaaS configuration management.
• Experience with AI-assisted access reviews, SaaS risk assessments, or intelligent policy generation.
• Experience making build-versus-buy decisions for security tooling.
