ELDS Fabrication Quality Inspector 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Conduct incoming, manufacturing, and final inspections using assigned test protocols.
• Support supplier quality, production quality, testing, and validation activities.
• Report quality data and maintain compliance with the quality management system.
• Evaluate quantitative metrics to determine compliance with requirements.
• Improve test protocols and inspection capabilities for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Train operational teams in quality assurance, testing routines, and control plans.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Skill in using measurement and inspection tools, with an understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Experience with ERP or MES systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to safely use a ladder and lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with non-conformance documentation, statistical analysis tools, and continuous improvement tools.
• Certified Quality Inspector or Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt certification.
