Field Service Engineers - North (Recycling)

Location: Roundhay Rd, Leeds, UK; field-based work across the North West and North East, with travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays.

Salary: GBP 35,000–GBP 40,000 per year.

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair hirify.global Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete preventative and reactive repairs.
• Support the UK-wide roll-out of new recycling machines and technology.
• Build professional relationships with customers and site contacts.
• Record service activities, machine status, and updates in digital systems.
• Travel throughout the assigned region, including occasional overnight stays, approved overtime, and weekend work.

Requirements

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems and interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Solution-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and clear customer communication.
• Confidence using power tools and hand tools independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel and manage a schedule in a field-based role.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• From October 2027, the role will move to a rota-based shift pattern including weekend coverage.
