Lab Technician (HVACR)

Location: Cookstown, United Kingdom; onsite role with rotational shifts

What you will do

• Test and analyze compressors manufactured onsite using advanced testing equipment.
• Verify performance and sound production using refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose faults and maintain refrigeration testing equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance schedules.
• Use automated testing equipment and perform chemical laboratory testing to support production.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve existing equipment performance.

Requirements

• HND or Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline, or NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration with two years of relevant experience.
• BTEC Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification with at least two years of relevant experience may also be considered.
• Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom; visa sponsorship and work authorization will not be provided.
• Ability to work rotational shifts.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, self-motivation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
