Senior Cloud Platform Solution Architect (Japanese Speaking) (Cloud)

Location: Singapore; hybrid work with an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office.

What you will do

• Design custom, reusable cloud platform and enterprise solutions for complex, medium-to-large opportunities.
• Lead architecture teams across solution design, development, deployment, governance, and technical quality.
• Help enterprise customers transform application development platforms into cloud-native computing platforms.
• Develop long-term IT strategies, assess technology and business impacts, and identify technical or operational risks.
• Collaborate with project managers on project plans, work breakdown structures, statements of work, and large enterprise or global projects.
• Lead solution pursuits, proposals, executive presentations, client relationships, training, mentoring, and architecture-practice improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of enterprise experience.
• Experience with hyperscaler platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms such as VMware and KVM.
• Experience with Docker, Cloud Foundry, Spring, Rails, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Microsoft .NET, OpenShift, WebSphere, Apache HTTP Server, LAMP, Kubernetes, and Kubeflow.
• Experience with enterprise container orchestration and Kubernetes distributions such as Red Hat OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, Google Anthos, and SUSE/Rancher Kubernetes Engine.
• Experience with MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Redis.
• Programming experience with Java, Python, PHP, and Ruby.
• Experience designing and implementing open-source enterprise production platforms providing IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS solutions, including accessibility, scalability, availability, application lifecycle, backup, recovery, monitoring, and cloud management platforms such as Morpheus and CloudBolt.
• Ability to design and lead large enterprise or global solutions, apply architecture and operational methodologies, evaluate architectures against business needs, and manage multiple projects or a large project concurrently.
• Ability to create architecture specifications, perform business process analysis, apply financial and business concepts, write statements of work, and use program or project management methods.
• Ability to lead complex opportunity identification, qualification, proposal, bid, approval, and closing activities, including consultative solution selling.
• Strong customer influence, negotiation, communication, writing, presentation, listening, and executive-level engagement skills.
• Fluent or native English and fluent or native Japanese.
