BCG Platinion Lead/Principal AI Tech Consultant

Location: Singapore, Singapore; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Jakarta, Indonesia; Bangkok, Thailand. Travel within the Southeast Asia / Asia-Pacific region is required.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of technology strategies and digital solutions aligned with client business objectives.
• Advise senior client stakeholders on technology direction, investment decisions, and transformation priorities.
• Analyze, assess, and optimize enterprise, solution, application, data, cloud, and platform architectures; define target states and transition roadmaps.
• Oversee functional and technical solution delivery, architecture governance, vendor selection, and implementation decisions.
• Own major project or program workstreams, managing risks, timelines, delivery quality, and complex stakeholder challenges.
• Lead and mentor consultants and architects while contributing to chapter capability building, business development, presales, and thought leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT consulting, technology advisory, digital transformation, and/or relevant industry roles.
• Proven experience leading complex technology advisory and delivery engagements in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in one or more enterprise, solution, application, data, cloud, or platform architecture domains, with the ability to operate at enterprise scale.
• Ability to connect technology decisions to business outcomes and shape executive-level conversations.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including structuring and solving ambiguous, high-stakes problems.
• Exceptional communication, storylining, and client-facing consulting skills, with strategic mindset, senior presence, and professional gravitas.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in technology consulting, enterprise architecture, or large-scale digital transformation within Industrial Goods, Manufacturing, Energy, or other complex enterprise environments.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel within the Southeast Asia / Asia-Pacific region.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, Master’s, or PhD.
• Relevant architecture or cloud certifications.
• Experience in Financial Services, Telecommunications, or other sectors.
• More experienced candidates may be considered for Principal or Director-level appointment.
