Senior Technology Leader (AI)

Location: Hybrid; at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients.

What you will do

• Own AI solution delivery from problem framing and feasibility assessment through architecture, implementation, production release, and continuous improvement.
• Design enterprise architectures connecting AI capabilities with applications, APIs, data platforms, identity, security, and operational controls.
• Build and review critical software components while establishing coding, testing, quality, cost, and maintainability standards.
• Develop production AI systems using agentic applications, retrieval-augmented generation, MCP, function and tool calling, structured outputs, and multi-agent workflows.
• Engineer inference architectures, model routing, caching, semantic retrieval, vector databases, evaluation pipelines, observability, and cost optimization.
• Partner with product, business, architecture, data, security, privacy, risk, and legal stakeholders while mentoring engineers and communicating recommendations to senior leaders.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, platform engineering, or related enterprise technology roles.
• Strong experience delivering production enterprise applications, integrations, or digital platforms in complex, regulated, or security-conscious environments.
• Recent hands-on experience with AI-enabled solutions, such as agentic applications, retrieval-augmented generation, intelligent workflow automation, or machine-learning services.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including API design, distributed systems, automated testing, version control, CI/CD, observability, and secure development.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with at least one enterprise stack such as Java, .NET, or TypeScript/Node.js, plus delivery experience on a major cloud platform.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical work, mentoring engineers, influencing architecture standards, and translating ambiguous business needs into delivery plans.

Nice to have

• Consulting, professional services, or client-facing technology delivery experience.
• Experience in regulated industries or with enterprise risk, compliance, and governance processes.
• Familiarity with AI application frameworks or model platforms such as LangGraph, PydanticAI, Azure Foundry, or AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with containerized workloads, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
• A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
