Senior Project Manager M&A

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid work with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week, depending on team needs. Flex-Location allows up to 30 days per year working from any location in the world.

What you will do

• Maintain and enrich the hirify.global for Aircraft acquisition and partnership pipeline, including market scans and initial target screening.
• Build workplans, timelines, action trackers, risk registers, and dependency maps for business-unit M&A workstreams.
• Coordinate contributors across Product, Finance, Commercial, Technology, and Operations.
• Coordinate due diligence requests with the central M&A team and external advisors, organizing product, commercial, technical, and operational inputs.
• Support business cases by gathering revenue, cost, investment, and synergy inputs and challenging assumptions.
• Prepare leadership, M&A review, and board-level materials while supporting the transition from due diligence to integration planning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in project management, corporate development, M&A support, strategy, consulting, or complex cross-functional programs.
• Knowledge of the aviation industry, preferably airline operations, SaaS, or B2B software.
• Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs with senior stakeholders; PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification is valued.
• Understanding of the M&A lifecycle, including pipeline development, screening, due diligence, transactions, and integration.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, work with financial and business-case inputs, and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Fluent English required; strong written and verbal communication skills and discretion with confidential information.

Nice to have

• Previous experience supporting due diligence, PMO activities, or post-merger integration coordination.
• MBA or equivalent business background.
