Senior Mechanical Engineer (Biopharma)

What you will do

• Coordinate the mechanical design team and deliver agreed project scope within budget and schedule.
• Own equipment modules and packages through design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and qualification.
• Prepare data sheets, material requisitions, enquiry packages, technical specifications, and vendor bid evaluations.
• Lead package development through kick-off meetings, design reviews, and factory acceptance tests.
• Manage suppliers and interface with clients, vendors, project managers, end users, and other engineering disciplines.
• Provide mechanical optimization and site support.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Chemical or Process Engineering backgrounds may also be considered with relevant process experience.
• 10+ years of design experience in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors.
• Experience with design and package management of process equipment for API, fill-finish, or biopharma projects.
• Confidence coordinating others and leading technical reviews with clients and suppliers.
• Professional working proficiency in English and German is required.
• Willingness to travel within DACH; chartered status is desirable.
