Associate Principal Investigator / Senior Scientist (Immunochemistry)

What you will do

• Serve as Study Director, Principal Investigator, or Responsible Scientist for research studies, overseeing technical conduct, analytical direction, documentation, and reporting.
• Analyze biological and chemical samples and develop, validate, and modify analytical methods for compounds, analytes, and varied matrices.
• Lead projects as a lead chemist, plan resources, guide technical staff, and train less experienced employees.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment while identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
• Review quality-control data, evaluate analytical results, and contribute to reports, protocols, methods, and SOPs.
• Participate in project and client meetings, communicate technical information, and support process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry, Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience using and troubleshooting analytical equipment.
• Knowledge of study types, analytical procedures, methodologies, SOP compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with data evaluation, method development, qualification, maintenance, training, project leadership, and resource scheduling.
• Effective verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and client communication skills.
• Advanced time-management skills and the ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience designing and independently conducting chemistry tests and performing initial results analysis.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with cell-based assays, flow cytometry (FACS), and qPCR techniques.
