What you will do

• Contribute to projects and lead investigations to solve cross-functional research problems.
• Plan and optimize research ideas for new sequencing methods and chemistries.
• Explore technologies, troubleshoot limitations, and develop creative solutions.
• Design, implement, analyze, and present experiments demonstrating new technology feasibility.
• Communicate research progress through technical meetings, written reports, and oral updates.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Proven innovation and scientific output in new chemistry, bioconjugates, or materials science.
• Expertise in synthesis and analytical techniques for small molecules, nucleosides, nucleotides, oligonucleotides, or peptides.
• Excellent laboratory, experimental, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, initiative, and a positive problem-solving attitude.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry or materials science with 4+ years of related experience.
