TL;DR
BIM Technician (Autodesk/BIM 360): Producing and coordinating discipline models, drawings, schedules, and other BIM outputs for engineering and construction projects with an accent on model quality, clash management, and multidisciplinary coordination. Focus on developing accurate 3D models, migrating 2D files and project data to BIM platforms, resolving design roadblocks, and delivering coordinated outputs within strict timelines.

Location: Brussels, Belgium; hybrid

What you will do

  • Produce discipline BIM models and outputs including drawings, schedules, renders, and coordinated details.
  • Support clash management, model federation, BIM project environment setup, and coordination meetings.
  • Convert historic 2D files into 3D models and migrate project files to BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Check data from consultants, contractors, and internal teams, resolve modelling issues, and apply redline changes.
  • Maintain drawing and model quality, follow client and internal design procedures, and deliver work within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Support BIM onboarding, internal training, technology evaluations, and adoption of new 3D tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related subject.
  • At least 3 years of experience in engineering or construction and 2 years in BIM.
  • Knowledge of Level of Development (LoD) and a strong understanding of modelling processes.
  • Good knowledge of English and Dutch.
  • Experience with BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud Design and Docs.
  • Ability to produce accurate work to strict deadlines and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

  • Construction-based experience.
  • Knowledge of additional Autodesk software.
  • Programming skills with Dynamo or Forge.
  • Experience with additional BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud modules.
