TL;DR
Technical Specialist (Sleep Medicine): Providing technical support, therapy activation, titration, and customer training for the remedē System with an accent on sleep-study optimization, device programming, and patient outcomes. Focus on supporting overnight sleep studies, educating sleep physicians, delivering remote on-call assistance, and traveling extensively across the Northern Central region.

Location: Remote, field-based role; candidates must reside within or near Chicago, Des Moines, Milwaukee, or Madison, Illinois, Iowa, or Wisconsin. Frequent regional and national travel, including overnight stays, is required.

Salary: $78,400–$117,600 annual base salary; targeted annual base salary of $90,000–$100,000. Targeted annual bonus: 20%.

hirify.global develops medical devices, software, and related services for serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions. The Respicardia division develops remedē System therapy for central sleep apnea.

What you will do

  • Provide technical support for therapy activation, titration, and optimization of the remedē System.
  • Support overnight sleep studies and help optimize therapy settings.
  • Train customers to use the remedē System programmer and perform device programming.
  • Collaborate with the Territory Manager across the sales process.
  • Educate sleep physicians and potential customers about central sleep apnea, therapy indications, and clinical data.
  • Provide scheduled remote on-call technical support and maintain vendor credentials for customer facilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sleep Medicine, including preferably at least 2 years in a sleep clinic or sleep laboratory.
  • Extensive experience scoring sleep studies and interpreting sleep study reports.
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
  • Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) certification required.
  • Clinical sleep educator certification or equivalent required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaboration, accountability, and independent working ability.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
