Field Support Specialist (Biotechnology)

Location: Remote, with required travel within or outside an assigned geographic territory and work at customer sites, laboratories, and offices.

Targeted salary range: $85,000–$90,000 per year.

What you will do

• Provide proactive and reactive technical support for hirify.global products at customer sites.
• Install instruments and perform corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Deliver customer training and application support to laboratory personnel and management.
• Manage customer priorities, scheduling, service inventory, service agreements, billing, and spare-parts availability.
• Resolve technical issues, support instrument validation, and maintain product uptime and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain complete service and regulatory documentation and identify sales opportunities through customer interactions.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a technical field and/or 2–3 years of technical, customer-facing troubleshooting experience.
• Clinical or biotechnology laboratory knowledge or experience.
• Medical Technologist, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or Electronics background.
• Strong verbal communication, teaching, interpersonal, independent-work, and professional judgment skills.
• Valid driver’s license in the home state, good driving record, and ability to travel by air and ground transportation.
• Ability to transport materials, samples, or demonstration equipment weighing up to approximately 25 pounds and work at varying customer environments.
