Senior Analytics Engineer

Location: Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; or Bellevue, WA. The role requires access to export-controlled information, with eligibility under applicable U.S. Government export regulations.

Salary: $182,000–$242,000 base salary per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own analytics for the Machine Infrastructure Supply Chain team.
• Build and evolve the enterprise semantic layer, trusted data models, reusable metrics, and analytics-ready datasets.
• Develop executive dashboards and AI analyst agents using tools including dbt, Airflow, Spark, StarRocks, Tableau, and Omni.
• Analyze inventory trends, optimize inventory levels, and support supply chain planning and replenishment.
• Lead root cause analysis for discrepancies, stockouts, overstock, and slow-moving inventory.
• Develop KPIs for inventory accuracy, turns, cycle times, risk, and obsolescence, collaborating with data engineering, finance, product, operations, planners, buyers, and warehouse teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence, including ownership of production analytics systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience modeling analytics-ready data with dbt, SQL, and/or Python.
• Expert SQL skills, including writing, optimizing, and debugging complex analytical queries.
• Deep experience with MPP analytical databases such as StarRocks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience with modern BI tools, semantic models, reusable metrics, executive dashboards, and self-service analytics.
• Experience orchestrating data pipelines with Airflow, Dagster, or equivalent, plus working proficiency in Python, Bash, R, or Julia.

Nice to have

• Experience operating production data pipelines or data platforms with testing, CI/CD, and code review practices.
• Experience with stream processing and transport systems such as Flink or Kafka.
• Familiarity with Iceberg, Hudi, Delta, or Paimon open table formats.
